The environmental and economic sustainability of food production depends not only on the availability of land, from the efficient use of water resources, whose quantity and quality represent a problem growing in many areas of the planet.
The scarcity of food is accompanied, in fact, to the scarcity of water and a modern and sustainable management of this resource is increasingly strategic to ensure correct food production.
The conference deals with the sensitive issue of the relationship between the food and the water, the light of the multiplicity of water uses (agriculture, civil, industrial) and the role of different actors along a chain complex, articulated and yet interconnected in its various phases.
